Rooms 701・702 "In Praise of Shadows"Interior Design
One of the most important, but often neglected aspects of a hotel room, is the lighting. These two rooms are inspired by the classic Japanese novel, "In Praise of Shadows" by Junichiro Tanizaki, in which he writes about the beauty of shadows in traditional Japanese interiors. The three types of lighting glow and show different expressions in the sun and in the dark, so enjoy finding the perfect light while your stay.
CLASKA was born in a renovation project of an old, ordinary hotel facing Meguro Street. Now, as a muliplex facility, we welcome people from all over the world, as a hotel, dining & cafe, gallery & shop, and studio. Through our services, events, and products, we continue to broaden the aesthetics and culture of present Japan.
