When Clothing Learns from Skin

We’ve all felt that frustrating tug of restrictive clothing while reaching or cycling. But what if our clothes could move with us, not against us?

We wanted to understand exactly how well our designs respond to body movements.

To do this, we teamed up with Dr. Naomichi Ogihara, a biomechanics expert from University of Tokyo. Using motion capture technology, we mapped the intricate movement of human skin and our clothing during everyday activities. Our discovery was eye-opening: our skin constantly shifts in ways we don’t even notice.

Postalco Free Arm Wear is inspired by these insights. With carefully engineered v-shaped pleats and unique shapes, these clothes mirror your skin’s natural flexibility.

Edition #1 Lookbook

Why Editions and not Seasons?

New items will be introduced as they are ready so we can continue to craft each piece with the time needed. A more seasonless offering is part of our effort to decrease waste.

We want to make long lasting items that can be used as many days as possible during the year.
