Light Cotton

The special weaving technique applied alternates between highly twisted yarns and intentionally looser twist yarns creates a unique ‘dry’ touch. This weaving technique helps give the fabric a crisp feeling but still allows improved breathability and lightness for comfort. This paper-like lightweight natural cotton is created in Japan. Fine Broad

Straight silhouette with a slightly relaxed fit. Versatile staple piece. Straight Fit is a regular cut that's less boxy than our Free Arm Shirt 01. Soft and breathable fabric woven on shuttle looms at a slower speeds. The looms make up for it with the character they give the material. This means a shirt that hangs differently and feels soft to the touch.

Broad Cotton

This mid-weight broadcloth is pre washed to reduce shrinkage, and to feel good from the first moment you wear it. Tailored workwear. Straight Fit is a regular cut that's less boxy than our Free Arm Shirt 01.100% cotton broadcloth. Made in Japan.

Fjord Stripe

Overlapping shades of blue give this fabric its unique look and feel. This organic cotton fabric is custom made for us in Japan. The blue shades are dyed using natural materials including gardenia fruit, logwood bark, lac resin and grapes used for white wine.

Soft Stripe

Our custom made fabric is woven in Japan at a mill with more than 70 years of experience. Soft and breathable, this organic cotton is GOTS certified so you can feel better wearing this shirt.

Natural dyes with beautiful color extracted from kuwa mulberry plants, logwood bark, charcoal, cacao shells and other plants used since ancient times. These are then combined with GOTS-certified environmentally safe dyes for reliability and durability.

Weather Cloth

All thickness is created with luxurious tightly woven fibers and layered fabric. No fillers or interfacing used in this shirt. This is more difficult to make but results in a shirt that will age better. We noticed this is the way 1920s vintage workwear was made and what gave those classic pieces their reliability. Woven in Japan, this soft fabric is a tightly woven combination of smooth and textured threads creating a unique look and soft touch.

Organic Cotton Flannel

Woven in Japan at a mill with more than 90 years of experience. 100% organic cotton flannel fabric. Each thread is loosely twisted to give the fibers more loft while still allowing breathability. Meant to be worn as a 3 season layer. Or for just a little warmth. This organic cotton is GOTS certified so you can feel better wearing this shirt.

Plaid

Screen printing by hand creates slight natural variations giving the pattern subtle depth. With repeated washings it will become one of the softest items in your closet. All thickness is created with luxurious tightly woven fibers and layered fabric. 100% cotton Japan made fabric.
