River Nylon
100% recycled nylon created for us in Japan.
Many waterproof fabrics have a thin plastic or rubber film glued to the inside of the fabric. These plastic layers often give fabric an unpleasant stiffness. No films or plastic sheets are glued to the Postalco River Nylon giving it a crisp and soft texture. The Postalco River Nylon water repellency treatment is fused directly into the fabric. Since River Nylon is treated inside, outside and between the fibers, the finish is much more durable than traditional water resistant treated fabric.
Treatment safety
Woven in Japan from 100% PFAS-free nylon.
・Hand washable at home with a mild detergent (Do not dry clean).
・Do not use fabric softener or detergents with fabric softener.
・Do not store wet.
・Avoid direct sunlight and dry in shade. After drying, iron low heat.
・Place fabric layer over item while ironing.
・Ironing smoothes the surface and helps improve water repellency.
・Durable water repellency may decline with use and washing over time.
Gift wrapping may be a cloth bag or a paper bag. Wrapping materials used will vary depending on the product type and size. Please note that we are not able to accept requests for specific wrapping materials. If you would like to have multiple items wrapped together, or if you would like to wrap only some items, please tell us in the memo box. If you do not specify, we will wrap each item individually.

Postalco cannot take responsibility for any shipping delays due to customs clearance, payment transaction delays, or any unforseen circumstances.
Import taxes, duties, and related customs fees may be charged when the parcel arrives at the destination country. The payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of recipient and will not be covered by Postalco. Duties & taxes are set by the customs authorities of the destination country. We estimate the value to be between 25-40% of the amount paid for the item(s) ordered. The shipper will contact you directly requesting payment upon your order's arrival through customs.
All shipments outside Japan include a commercial invoice to avoid delays in customs. We are unable to indicate a lower price for the value of your order listed on your commercial invoice as we must adhere to all international import/export rules and regulations.
Unclaimed packages: The shipper will leave a notice if nobody is available to sign for your package. The shipping agent will hold your package for a few days only. If you do not claim it, it will be returned to us, marked unclaimed. You will be required to pay for shipping twice to have your order sent a 2nd time. There may be some countries we cannot ship to due to courier restrictions.

There are short handles to carry by hand and a long shoulder strap when you want to keep your hands free. The short handles are useful when you need to quickly pick up your bag.

Each fiber is textured before weaving to give this material its unique dry touch. Has the durability and water resistance of nylon with a surface that feels like a natural fiber for comfort.
