ポスタルコオリジナルのバンブーワックスクロスは、耐久性と撥水性にすぐれています。エコロジカルな竹繊維は独特の肌ざわりで、表面はわずかに光沢があります。わたしたちは、この素材をポスタルコのバッグのために日本で開発しました。天然繊維ですが、軽い上に天候条件に左右されません。ワックス処理をしてあるので、ちょっとした雨ならご心配なく。
どうして、竹なのか？
竹は草の一種ですが、スーパーパワーの持ち主です。地球上で成長がもっとも早い植物で、ユニークなチューブ構造によって重力に抗います。成長しながら、炭素をすばやく吸収します。竹は頑丈で、とても強く、それだけに繊維として織ることがむずかしいのです。でも、そのエコロジカルな繊維をなんとかバッグの素材にできないものかと考えました。
バンブーワックスクロスを作る
竹の繊維をコットンと撚り合わせることで、薄くて丈夫な布を作ることができます。ワックスを素材に浸透させて撥水性を与えています。並みでない強い素材を作るのですから、強い糸を扱えるだけの織機がなければなりません。こうしたことから、300年以上もの織物の歴史をもつ岡山ならではの、伝統とノウハウに学ぶことが必要でした。おどろくほどきつく織られているからこそ、天候条件を気にしないでいられる耐久性と撥水性があるのです。生地は使い込むほどに、やわらかさを増します。
ミルレザー
この革を選んだのは、高級感のある柔らかな手触りと、体にフィットすることが理由です。革本来の風合いを出すために、染料のみを使い色の深みを出しました。フルグレインレザー。トレーサビリティー、エネルギー消費、水、排気ガスの排出量や労働環境の安全性への管理を徹底する、サスティナブルで責任ある企業のレザーを使用しています。The Leather Working Group（LWG）認定タンナー。REACHに準拠した成分でなめし加工を行っています。（REACHとは、製品に含まれる化学物質、重金属、汚染物質を制限する欧州議会及び欧州理事会規則です）。
革の染色方法について
一枚の革の中でも、場所によって色や質感にバリエーションがあります。革の表面を均一にするために、顔料で塗装する方法が一般的ですが、残念ながらこの方法は革の自然な風合いを損ない、長期間使用すると塗装がはがれてきます。ポスタルコの革の色付けには染料染めを採用しています。革の表面の味を生かす染料でオリジナルカラーに染めてあるため、使い込むほどに風合いが増していき、経年変化を楽しめます。革には一枚ずつ違った表情があります。縞の色むらの様に見えるのはトラと呼ばれる革の繊維の模様です。この柄はひとつとして同じものがありません。自然な加工法の丈夫な革ですので手入れをすることにより長期間使用することができます。
ケア方法 Care
お使いいただくうちに、革の色が落ちる可能性があります。特に湿った場合、他の衣料に革の色が移ることがあるのでご注意ください。濡れた場合には乾いた柔らかい布でやさしく押すように拭いてください。革の表面が乾燥してきたら透明なデリケートクリームでお手入れできます。生地の汚れが気になる場合は、軽く湿らせた柔らかい布で拭いてください。水洗い及び乾燥機は使用しないでください。

The payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of recipient and will not be covered by Postalco. Duties & taxes are set by the customs authorities of the destination country. We estimate the value to be between 25-40% of the amount paid for the item(s) ordered. The shipper will contact you directly requesting payment upon your order's arrival through customs.
All shipments outside Japan include a commercial invoice to avoid delays in customs. We are unable to indicate a lower price for the value of your order listed on your commercial invoice as we must adhere to all international import/export rules and regulations.
Unclaimed packages: The shipper will leave a notice if nobody is available to sign for your package. The shipping agent will hold your package for a few days only. If you do not claim it, it will be returned to us, marked unclaimed. You will be required to pay for shipping twice to have your order sent a 2nd time. There may be some countries we cannot ship to due to courier restrictions.

Gift Wrapping
Gift wrapping is available at a cost of 350 yen per item.
Gift wrapping may be a cloth bag or a paper bag. Wrapping materials used will vary depending on the product type and size. Please note that we are not able to accept requests for specific wrapping materials.
If you would like to have multiple items wrapped together, or if you would like to wrap only some items, please tell us in the memo box. If you do not specify, we will wrap each item individually.
Example of what to write in the memo field:
"Notebook (light blue) and notebook (dark blue) gift-wrapped together, and Bag- gift-wrapped separately. etc. "
Order receipt
If you choose to receive gift wrapping, we will not include an order receipt that shows the price. Please contact us if you would like to receive a receipt by email.

手に持ったり肩にかけたり
手で持って使うための短いハンドルと、肩からかけて両手を自由に使えるショルダーストラップが付いています。短いハンドルは、バッグをさっと手に取りたいときにも便利です。
ショルダーストラップは長さを調整することができます。約55〜97cm。
荷物はどれくらい入るの？
例1 : A4の書類、スマートフォン、財布、本、水筒。
例2 : Macbook Pro 13インチ、充電器、ノート、ペンケース
おおよそ、3kgくらいまでの荷物を入れて使うことができます。
吊り橋から学んだ構造
私たちは、橋が重さを分散させる構造を備えていることに気づきました。その構造が隠れていないことにヒントを得て誕生したのが、ブリッジバッグシリーズです。重さを分散させることで、荷物をバランスよく持ち運ぶことができるのです。
ワックスによる撥水加工
ワックスを生地に直接染み込ませることで、撥水加工を施しています。フィルムやプラスチックシートを接着していないため、使い込むほどにやわらかく馴染んでいきます。
