Soft Cowhide
We developed this leather for its luxurious soft touch and the way it fits the body. Aniline dyed to preserve natural color variations that are the trademark of beautiful leather. This full grain leather is uncoated creating a natural surface that's soft and supple. It will quickly get darker with use and exposure to light. Small scratches and stains blend in creating a patina that is only possible with leather.
How We Dye Our Leather
Variations are part of each skin, and even within the same skin. The easier way to make leather color uniform is to cover the surface with thick synthetic fillers and pigment coatings, covering the natural variations in surface and color. Unfortunately this finish does not allow scratches to blend in or improve over time. Postalco leather is colored using aniline dyes. Aniline dyes soak into the leather leaving visible the natural variation in grain and texture. The more aniline dyed leather is used, the better the surface patina gets over time. Each skin is different: a faint stripe-like pattern, called ‘tora’ in Japanese is a natural effect due to the way the dye soaks in to the various parts of the skin. Each skins ‘tora’ is different. Making Veg tanned and Aniline dyed leather is more expensive and time consuming but produces beautiful leathers.
Leather
This product is made of carefully selected leather which has been naturally cured and tanned. With use the shine will mellow and surface scratches picked up along the way will get worked in. The color will also deepen. Leather may fade with use and colors may bleed, especially when wet. If your item gets wet gently blot it with a soft dry cloth to prevent staining and rippling. Shade dry. If the surface appears dry, please use a mild cream over the entire leather surface（such as clear Delicate Shoe Cream）to replenish the moisture. Test cream in an inconspicuous place first. Be sure to use only clear cream as any color will rub off. We use a toothbrush to apply cream in order to get it evenly into the nooks and crannies. Oily leather creams, such as mink oil, will leave a stain so we do not recommend using them. Please be aware that applying care cream will darken the leather. Be sure to apply an even coat of care cream to the entire surface, not just in one area, to avoid staining. Do not leave the product in direct sunlight or under strong lights for long periods as it may cause discoloration or fading.
Nylon fabric
Fabric webbing may fade with use and colors may bleed, especially when wet. If your bag gets wet gently blot it with a soft dry cloth. Do not wash this bag. Do not place in the dryer. To clean: Wipe with a moistened soft cloth. Use only water repellent spray made to be used with both leather and fabric.
Gift wrapping may be a cloth bag or a paper bag. Wrapping materials used will vary depending on the product type and size. Please note that we are not able to accept requests for specific wrapping materials. If you would like to have multiple items wrapped together, or if you would like to wrap only some items, please tell us in the memo box. If you do not specify, we will wrap each item individually.

Unclaimed packages: The shipper will leave a notice if nobody is available to sign for your package. The shipping agent will hold your package for a few days only. If you do not claim it, it will be returned to us, marked unclaimed. You will be required to pay for shipping twice to have your order sent a 2nd time. There may be some countries we cannot ship to due to courier restrictions.
